Salvador Ramirez is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient and a recent graduate of Kelseyville High School. He will attend Shasta College this fall to pursue an Associate Degree in Agriculture, with plans to transfer and earn a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. Salvador was actively involved in FFA, serving in leadership roles and earning multiple degrees, and was also a dedicated student-athlete and campus leader. 

Atlantis Jones is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient and a junior at Chico State majoring in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis. She is a member of the Chico Honors Program, maintains a strong academic record, and has been deeply involved in agriculture through 4-H and FFA leadership. Atlantis has also volunteered more than 200 hours at local animal shelters and clinics, gaining hands-on experience toward her goal of becoming a veterinarian. 

Ariana Covarrubias is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient and a student at Santa Rosa Junior College majoring in Agricultural Science and Education. She plans to transfer to Chico State with the goal of becoming a high school agriculture teacher and returning to teach in Lake County. Ariana is gaining hands-on experience at Shone Farm and serves as Secretary of the Ag Ambassadors club, building on her strong background in FFA leadership. 

Gene Tuttle Holdenried is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient and a recent graduate of Kelseyville High School with deep, multi-generational roots in Lake County agriculture. He grew up working on his family’s hay, pear, and winegrape ranch while also excelling as a varsity basketball and baseball player and team captain. This fall, Gene will study Agricultural Business at College of the Redwoods, where he plans to continue playing baseball.

Emma Mertle is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient and a graduate of Clear Lake High School, currently studying Agricultural Science and Education with a minor in Marketing at Chico State. She serves as an Ag Ambassador, holds leadership roles in multiple ag organizations, and has earned academic honors including Top 10 GPA in her major and the Dean’s List. Inspired by growing up without access to agriculture classes, Emma is committed to becoming an agricultural educator. 

Amirah is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipient currently attending Mendocino College to earn an Associate of Science degree in Agricultural Education, with plans to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She plans to become an agricultural educator and FFA advisor, with hopes of returning to serve Lake County. Amirah was highly involved in FFA and 4-H, holding multiple leadership roles and gaining hands-on experience in agriculture and livestock projects. 

Fabiola Covarrubias is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Scholarship recipient and a recent graduate of Kelseyville High School. She was actively involved in FFA, cheer, ASB leadership, and community programs, while gaining hands-on agricultural experience at local farm supply retailers and packing facilities. This fall, Fabiola will begin her studies at Mendocino College, pursuing a career as a radiology technician. 

Aleesa Beckstead is a 2025 Lake County Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Scholarship recipient and a recent graduate of Lower Lake High School. She has spent eight years involved in 4-H and FFA, holding multiple leadership roles and earning top showmanship honors, including being named the 2024 FFA Round Robin Champion at the Lake County Fair. This fall, Aleesa will attend Santa Rosa Junior College to study Floral Design and continue her involvement in agricultural leadership.
